William M. Kloos, 90 of North View Estates, formerly of Hazel Avenue, Ellwood City passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 12:01 AM. Born in Ellwood City on August 16, 1925, William was the son of the late Mathias and Agnes Segedi Kloos. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Helen Streit who passed away on February 15, 2005. They were married on February 18, 1955. William retired from Blaw Knox in Ellwood City as a machinist. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ellwood Saxon Club. William was a veteran of the Army serving in Europe during World War II. Surviving are 4 children, Linda and Richard MacMurdo of Ellwood City, Juliann and Wayne Shelar of New Castle, John W. Kloos of North Carolina and Cynthia and Ron Justi of New Castle, 9 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, William was preceded in death by 3 brother and 3 sisters, Matthew, John, Frederick, Mary, Katherine and Rose Kloos. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. William's family would like to thank Vitas Hospice and North View Estates for their compassion and care during their father's illness. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph A.
