Theodore W. Nagel, 87 of Stamm Hollow Rd., Franklin Twp. passed away at Providence Health Care Center in Beaver Falls on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 8:10 PM. Theodore was born in North Sewickley Twp. on July 22, 1928 to the late Harry and Clara Stich Nagel. He is survived by his wife, the former Melva Crowl whom he married on March 2, 1953. Theodore retired from the Ellwood Works of US Steel where he worked in the Hot Mill. He was a Lutheran by faith and a Veteran of the Navy serving in World War II. He enjoyed playing bingo, fleamarketing and watching wrestling on TV, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family. Besides his wife Melva, Theodore is survived by 3 children, Sandra & James Hall of Ellwood City, Ronald and Liticia Nagel of New Castle and Theodore W. Nagel, Jr. at home, a grandson, James D. Hall, Jr of Ellwood City, 3 step-daughters, Dena Perkins of New Castle, Heather & James Yohe and Shannon & Dean VanDevort both of Ellwood City and 4 step-grandchildren. Theodore was the last of his family. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory.
