Stephen Nicholas Repasky

Stephen Nicholas Repasky, 78, of Kane Road, South Pymatuning Twp. passed away in his residence on Monday, April 8, 2013. Born in Farrell on December 4, 1934 he was the son of the late Stephen and Mildred Blasko Repasky. He was a gradutate of Sharpsville High School. Stephen also attended the New Castle Automation Institute and IBM Cleveland Education Center for Computer Systems and Programming. He worked at Johnson Bronze Co in New Castle, PA as a systems analyst programmer and also at Seiberling Rubber Co in Barberton, OH as a programmer. Stephen retired from Alcan Aluminum Corporation in Youngstown, OH as an assistant manager of the Corporate Data Center after forty years of service. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving as a SGT in Korea and also in the Army Reserves. Stephen was an original member of St. John's Orthodox Church where he volunteered and helped with Pirohi sales. He enjoyed working on the family farm. Stephen is survived by his sisters and brothers; Mildred Orlosky of Mercer, Mary Jane Repasky of South Pymatuning Twp., Katie and Richard Hartley of Fowler, OH and Michael and Julie Repasky of Columbia, NJ, three Godchildren; Kathy Baronowsky, Nicholas Baronowsky and Stephanie Repasky, nieces and nephews; Glenn and Michele Orlosky, Edward and Mindy Hartley, Paul and Robin Hartley, Amelia, Steve and Samuel Baronowsky, John and Joseph Repasky, Alexander and Rachel Lewis Hartley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Repasky, a brother, John Joseph Repasky, brother-in-law, George Orlosky and a nephew, Gary Orlosky. Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 10th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Tomon Funeral and Cremation Services, in the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 E. State St., Sharon. A Panachida service will be offered at the funeral home at 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 11th at 11:00 AM at St. John's Orthodox Church, Morefield Rd., Hermitage with Fr. David Mastroberte and Proto. Michael Polanichka, Pastor Emeritus. It will be preceded by a brief service at the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in St. John's Orthodox Cemetery. Contributions can be made in Stephen's name to either St. John's Building Fund or St. John's Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
