Regina (Virginia) Hrubosky, 95 formerly of S. Oakland Ave., Sharon passed away a the Venice Regional Hospital in Venice, FL on Saturday, January 16, 2010. She was born in Rossiter, PA on January 7, 1915 to the late Joseph & Stella Maykowski Zebrowski. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, George Hrubosky on February 5, 1991. They were married on October 14, 1939. She was an active member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church where she severed as the organist for many years and was a member of the Ladies of Charity. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann Marie and Charles Shoup of Venice, FL and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 6 sisters, Frances Zebrowski, Bertha Nitowski, Helen Baron, Sophie Chmielowski, Jean Tavolario and Stephine Zebrowski in infancy. Friends my call at the Tomon Funeral and Cremation Services in the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, PA on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church on Saturday, January 23 at 11 A.M. by Rev. Fr. Stanley Swacha. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church Cemetery.
