Mary C. DeOtto

Mary C. DeOtto, 86, of Mahoney Avenue, Ellport passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2012 at Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio. Born in Ellwood City on April 1, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Guiseppi and Frances Yanniello. She married Otto DeOtto on June 21, 1947 and he preceded her in death on November 9, 2005. Mary was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and its Christian Mothers. She was also a member of the Ellwood Optimisses Club. Mary enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Mary is survived by her children and their spouses, Rose Marie and Denny D'Angelo of North Sewickley Twp., Mike and Susan DeOtto of Ellwood City, Joe DeOtto of Ellwood City and Franscene and Mike Davis of New Philadelphia, OH, 10 grandchidren, Daniel and Julia D'Angelo, David and Brooke D'Angelo, Kevin and Joy DeOtto, Douglas and Alicia DeOtto, Nicholas DeOtto, Trisha and Ed Katkich, Joey and David Young, Tiffany Davis, Taylor Davis and Taryn Davis, seven great-grandchildren and a brother, Anthony Yanniello of Ellwood City. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Guido Yanniello. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 11th at 10:00 AM. at Holy Redeemer Church. Entombment will follow in Assumption Mausoleum in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Mary's name to either the Holy Redeemer Angel Fund or the Ellwood City Wolves Club Scholarship Fund.

To the DeOtto family - Mary will truely be missed at all Wolves Club functions. She was a wonderful lady and we were honored to call her friend. Just know that you will all be in our thoughts and prayers at this time. She is now back with her true love.
