Lisa J. Morini

Lisa J. Morini, 95 of Wampum Avenue, Ellwood City passed away at North View Estates on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 7:05 AM. Born in Ellwood City on February 15, 1919, Lisa was the daughter of the late Albert and Giovanna Benvenuti Ricciuti. She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo S. Morini on December 11, 1990. They were married on September 29, 1938. Lisa and her husband owned and operated Morini's Markets in Ellwood City, Koppel, Wampum and Mahoningtown. Lisa also owned and operated Lee's Flower Shop in the 1950's and 1960's in Ellwood City. She was member of Holy Redeemer Parish and was an avid reader. Lisa loved her flower garden and she wrote and spoke fluent Italian. She enjoyed visiting her family in Italy. Lisa is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Angelo S. Morini, Jr. of Orlando, FL, Albert E. and Diane Morini of Ellwood City, Christopher E. and Joann Morini of Orlando, FL, twelve grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a sister, Virginia DiAlesandro of New Castle. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald A. Morini, two grandchildren; Mark Angelo and Lori Beth Morini, a brother, Saturno "Sam" Ricciuti and three sisters; Mary Cisco, Jean Cannarozzi and Elena Ricciuti. Friends will be received on Thursday, May 1st from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 10:00 am at Holy Redeemer Church. Entombment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Lisa's name to the Ellwood City Area Public Library, Lawrence Avenue, Ellwood City, PA 16117.
