It was a pleasure to know Julie throughout our school days and as a member of Girl Scout Troop 669. I remember her interest when I told her about our trip to Alaska and a tour we took to see the dogs
that raced in the Ititarod. Julie truly loved Siberian Huskies. Rest in peace, dear
friend. Love, Mary Ellen

I am so very sorry to hear of her tragic accident. Julie was a classmate of mine at Lincoln High School in Seattle who I reconnected with online recently. I enjoyed hearing about her dogs and the joy she received from them.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to Rich and her family,

Julie was such a welcoming presence in the Siberian community. Whether she was laughing with you over your dog's antics, crying with you over a loss or mentoring a new owner, she made everyone feel like they were an cherished friend. She will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Rich and her family.

Julie was one of the first three people I met when I transfered to JB Allen Elementary School near the end of 2nd grade. She was in the Brownie troop I joined & we have been friends for all these 61 years! We have missed her not being on the West Coast, but loved to hear how her life was going. My condolences to Rich & all the family. Best love, Gail

Although we never actually met, you were a terrific e-friend. Funny to see your picture: I always imagined you as 30-something! I saw so many things that you wrote to many people to help them; and you were always positive. The world is a poorer place without your light; Godspeed, my friend.

Through the years Julie has been a constant companion, confessor and a steady shoulder to lean on in times of trouble and grief. We never met in person but I have considered Julie a friend indeed through Sibernet. I will miss her steadfast cheerfulness and courage through all that she has gone through over the past few years. That shining light in the sky is Julie and her team in Silver Harnesses racing the Aurora. Thank you for all that you have meant to us for so long.

Rich and family, our heartfelt condolences on your loss.

Godspeed, my friend. I cannot believe I will never again spend evenings corresponding by email with you or sharing advice and problems on the phone. Give Sassy and Spirit hugs for me. I still have some Sassy fur to spin. I will make sure Rich and Lisa get something made from it. Your friendship was a very special thing.

The Siberian world, and human world has lost a great person. Godspeed Julie. I'm sure you will be met by so many Sibes at the Bridge. You will be greatly missed by all who knew you both in person, and through our Sibernet group. Rest in peace.

I only met Julie through email, but I looked forward to her messages. Especially trading pictures of Siberians. I know she was greeted by so many on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

Julie was loved by more friends who did not actually know her in person than you could ever guess. Just from her interests and e-mails, she charmed people, and her loving, caring nature shined through. She will not be forgotten and will stay cherished in our hearts. My thoughts are with you.

My heart breaks for her families loss and the loss of so many of us that never got to meet her but felt her support from afar. I'm sure she's watching down on us and is surrounded by the Siberians she so loved.

My deepest sympathies to Rich and the family. I first met Julie ( & Rich) at a Husky Hike in ILL, through our mutual friend Lois. Thanks to Lois, Julie n Bill also came and supported our AAHIOH hike and activities. Julie was caring and ever so friendly, much like our Siberians. Much of the Siberian Husky world will miss her and her smile. Hope she is having fun with her furry friends in the snowfields of heaven, (and there must be snow there for our guys!!!)listening to Lois n Bill!

I was lucky to become acquainted with Julie through the husky group. I too never met her in person, only via email. She was very caring, full of good advice, upbeat, cheerful. I'll miss her but believe she will still be with the group in spirit, watching over and loving both dogs and humans.

If you were lucky enough to have had your life touched in someway with Julie's friendship - you were blessed more than you realized. She always had a word of kindness and a memory to relate to those who loved Siberian Huskies as much as she did. I am so glad she was someone who touched my life...prayers go out to her family and friends.
