Julia Guba Miklos, 95 formerly of South 9th St., Sharpsville passed away at John XXIII Home in Hermitage on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Born in Dunlo, PA on August 8, 1918, Julia was the daughter of the late George and Anna Manko Guba. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Miklos on January 31, 1987. They were married on June 22, 1940. Julia was a member of St. John's Carpato-Russian Orthodox Church and the Mother-Daughter Club of the Church. She enjoyed baking bread, crocheting afghans but most of all enjoyed shopping. Surviving are two children and their spouses, John J. and Elizabeth Miklos of Vienna, VA and Mary Ann and George Bokor of Sharon, 7 grandchildren, Carol Berry, Mary Lynn Tatala, Diane Rajnik, Christine Sherry, David Bokor, Rebecca Bokor and Stephanie Bokor, 6 great grandchildren, Jason and Danial Sherry, Benjamin and Sarah Tatala and Andrew and Leah Rajnik and 2 great great grandsons, Jason and Jaidan Sherry. Besides her parents and husband, Julia was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Joe, John and Mike Guba and 5 sisters, Ann Wanchisn, Mary Coyne, Sue Miller, Helen Guba and Agnes Yachisko. Friends may call at the Tomon Funeral and Cremation Services in the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 4 to 7 PM. Where a Panachida Service will be offered at 7 PM. A Funeral Service will be offered at St. John's Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11 AM by her pastor, Fr. David Mastroberte. Interment will follow in St. John's Orthodox Cemetery.
