So many memories: I will always remember those hot summer days hanging out around the garden searching for zucchinis, picking tomatoes, snagging peppers and handfuls of parsley to fill my bag and return home. Or maybe it was the simpler visits when we just hung out, relaxing on the back porch, talking and waiting for the pigeons to make there was home….
Now it’s your time to return home, and thou I will miss hearing all of the pigeon stories, discussing Duke basketball, and of course my shot and beer or two I will never forget your warm smile and our time spent together… those memories are forever attached to my heart….
May God bless you, for you will be greatly missed!!!
My heart goes out to the Rusnock family for their loss. We must always have old memories and young hopes. My thoughts and prayers remain with you all.
Veronica, T-Bird, John and family.... My deepest sympathies are with all of you with the loss of your father. I remember all so well the many talks we had at the old gymnasium when I was coaching John on the sixth grade all star team..
Veronica, You and i go back to BVM as early as second grade. May your Dad rest in peace. He was a great man to talk with!
Whether it was eating Kohlrabi from his garden, stepping into the Pigeon Coop to view the new babies, the wonderful smell of the Wood Work Garage or sitting around the kitchen table snacking.... these are the things I will forever remember about my Grandpa! An amazing Husband, dedicated Father and caring Grandpa!
God Speed Grandpa, you will be greatly miss!!!!
