Florence Irene Campbell, 81, of Ellport, passed away on Monday, October 5th in Edison Manor, New Castle. Born May 30, 1928 in Ellwood City she was the daughter of the late George and Katherine Lutsch Botschner. Florence was a 1946 graduate of Salem High School in Salem, Ohio. She was employed as a secretary at the Deming Company in Salem from 1946-48, Flowline in New Castle from 1948-53, Westinghouse in Beaver County from 1953-63 and at Peters Township High School in McMurray, PA from 1965-68. Florence was of the Lutheran faith. Florence is survived by her nephew and his wife, Tark F. and Sue Kolch, a great nephew, Tark S. Kolch and his children, T.J. and Ava, a great niece, Michelle Kolch, all of Ellwood City, her former husband, Ray Campbell, and a special friend, Carol Main. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 sisters: Catherine Leutner, Sara Quigley, Pauline Krestel, Anne Brantsch and Suzanne Kolch and a brother, George Botschner. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment took place in Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Florence's name to Southerncare Hospice, 2656 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105.
