Charles O. Oliver

Charles O. Oliver, 90 of 1652 Mercer Rd., Franklin Twp. died March 25, 2009 at 5:05 A.M. at Rochester Manor. He was born in Beaver Falls, PA on September 26, 1918 to the late Ora Charles & Edna Mae Rockwood Oliver. He is survived by his wife the former Catherine Couch whom he married on September 12, 1939. He had worked for the North Sewickley Coal Co. and later retired as a heavy equipment operator at the Ellwood City Forge. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and a veteran of the Army serving in Europe in World War II. He was a member of the Ellwood PNA Lodge 1212. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol & David Richards of Franklin Twp., 5 grandchildren, Lori & Mike Jeannette, Debbie & Howard Nelson, Mark & Jamie Richards, Sheri & Todd Ault and Misty & Chad Fitzgerald and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Mary Shoaff, Maude Dawson, Frances Rothenberg, Eva Farrow & Edith Shoaff. A memorial service for Mr. Oliver will be announced at a later date.
