Charlene R. "Snookie" Drotleff, 60, of Fountain Avenue, Ellwood City passed away at the Ellwood City Hospital on Sunday, December 23, 2012 after a long fought battle with cancer. Born in Ellwood City on July 4, 1952 Charlene was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Glione DeLee McCartney Nulph. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Drotleff whom she married on October 13, 2001. Snookie had worked at several local establishments, Pappy D's, Daufens and Dom's IGA. She was an avid member of the Ellwood City Women's Pool League for 26 years. She was a team captain and an officer for the league. Her passions were cooking and going to the library, where she would check out 4 books at a time. Besides her husband, Robert E. Drotleff at home, she is survived by a daughter, Charlee L. Stewart-Kahon of Decatur, GA and two grandchildren, Michael and Laura Alderman. There will be no services. Interment will be in Wurtemburg Cemetery. Contributions can be made in Charlene's name to the Ellwood City Library or the Ellwood City Hospital. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory.
