James W. Ruby , 73

James W. Ruby James W. Ruby, 73, of 16 Lemon Way, Koppel passed away in his residence on Saturday, January 16th at 3:25 AM.

Born in Koppel on June 4, 1936 he was the son of the late Norman and Anna Baker Ruby. He owned and operated N.S. Ruby Custom Framing in Koppel. James was a member of Queen of Heaven Parish and enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing. He was a member of the Ellwood Moose Lodge 93 and was an active member of the pool team.

He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy Looney, whom he married November 25, 1967, a daughter, Mary Dewhirst of Homewood, a son, James Ruby, Jr. of South Carolina, 3 granddaughters, a sister, Cleora Burson of Florida, 2 brothers: Norman and Lester Ruby, both of Koppel and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by 3 bothers: Louie, Raymond and Ralph Ruby and three sisters: Lela Biega, Anna Blower and a sister in infancy.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, January 18th at 1:00 PM at Queen of Heaven Church in Koppel.

Memorial contributions can be made in Mr. Ruby's name to either the St. Jude Children's Hospital or the donor's favorite charity.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
